Federal Crimes Attorney

Federal crimes or federal offense are crimes committed illegally by the US federal legislation. Federal crimes are punishable by laws.  This includes many crimes that, if it did not occur along US federal property; otherwise would fall under state or local law. Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) is granted to have rights in investigating federal crimes. Federal crimes are charged in a federal court and can involve enhanced penalties, steeper sentencing and different laws that you might not have been aware of at all.

The statute defines as a federal crime the "Use of interstate commerce facilities in the commission of murder-for hire” The presence of "interstate commerce" is thought to render the crime at issue a federal crime - since under the Constitution, the involvement of "interstate commerce" gives Congress a right to legislate. But what counts as "interstate commerce"? In the federal murder-for-hire statute, interstate travel and interstate commerce - which can merely be the use of the mail, or a telephone - can both count. But the statute goes much further than that - to make almost every murder-for-hire case a federal crime. For it ensures that the mere act of picking up a phone and cell phones count, or dropping a letter in one's own mailbox, can transform an alleged state crime into an alleged federal crime.

Most common Federal Crimes are Mail Robbery, Drug Offenses, Immigration Offenses and Assassinating the President.
